Excessive Sweating During Exercise
Excessive Sweating During Exercise. Your body attempts to cool itself by releasing sweat to evaporate off the surface of the skin. As you can see, sweating early and sweating a lot can be a sign of fitness but there are other causes of excessive sweating.
Though you might not love the amount of sweat dripping from your body after an intense workout, what you may not realize is the more your body adapts to physical activity, the more you sweat (and this is a good thing).
Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, can be a warni ng sign of thyroid problems, diabetes or infection.
Sweating reduces the build-up of calcium and salt in the kidneys and lowers the risk of developing kidney stones. Profuse sweating can be due to hormonal fluctuations, stress, and anxiety, a sign of low blood sugar or low-grade fever or a symptom of an overactive thyroid gland. Our bodies can't cool down efficiently if the air is.
